The reason I wrote the song!
It was the day after the Christmas rules had changed to just one day. I wrote down a prayer in my diary similar to the first verse of this song. This was just how I was feeling at the time, as I was disappointed that the rules had changed plans yet another time. However, the reason I made it into a song was because we had watched a film called 'I can only Imagine' which is about the Christian songwriter from the band MercyMe. He wrote how he was feeling and made it into a song. So, that's what inspired me to write this song, as this was what I was feeling at the time. I've never written a song before, but it is a really good way to praise God and tell Him how you're feeling.
